When they're not playing wierd **** with all their damn pedals, they're amazing. What do you think?

Weird and mildly annoying. I've heard like one song that I actually thought was good.

been digging this band loads lately. i got the st and drugs ep. they seem solid musicians, and the music is cluttered but beautiful.

I have something of theirs that I haven't listened to yet. It's in my "Listen to this you asshole" folder.

When I first heard them, I thought they were just ripping off By The End Of Tonight. But their live show is what makes this band.

They put on a good show when I saw them, but I believe they're a three piece now. Pretty sure they are.

math rock is ok until it loses it's "special-ness" by having non-stop start stop dynamics and such.
things like that are only special if they're used sparingly. after that it becomes predictable.

What I really like about Math Rock is how they incorperate the times tables in the songs. Amazing. I heard bands are starting to put cubic measures in the interludes.

i just refer to it as math-rock because that's the general name that most people identify with it. i know they don't write down equations and such. it's just a name.

Yeah, we're all fine, but since the stupid ****ing truck we hit was jacked up, our car went right under his truck. My buddy Kyle's car is nice and ****ed up now.

I don't like the new stuff at all. I though all the melody songs1-8 were tight however.

seems theres a rift between lovers and haters of this band. they look incredible live and i genuinely enjoy listening to all their stuff. they placed some of the negative feedback on their myspace page under the 'sounds like' section. criticisms include too much pedal w'ankery etc. haha.
