Ok, so basically here's the run down. I'm making a guitar instructional interactive cd for a class I'm in. My microphone is busted to hell and so I'm unable to record the chords I need. To basically save time I'm putting all the chords into guitar pro 5 and then exporting them as waves.

here's where the problem comes in.

when i export a wav file, there's no sound at all. just .... blank for the period of time the wave file was recording. I can easily export the files to midi and they play back with no problems. However, Macromedia director has a hard time interpreting midi files as most know they're not valid sound files.

so I need 1 of 2 things.

Either someone to kindly export all the chords i save up to wave files or to help me troubleshoot why there is no sound when I export. All my sound levels are up high so I don't see why it wouldn't export the wave's without a problem

If you do want to help me out in exporting the files just rep me (pos or negz i dont care) with your msn screen name / email address so that it isn't seen by the masses.

Just export them to midi and convert them to wav files using a midi to wav converter. You can find a few free ones on download.com

Or you can go to your soundcard options > recording options > make sure you have 'stereo out' i think its called seleted instead of say Line In or Mic. Mine is called 'What you hear' as i have an X-Fi. you may have to go to advanced options to get the stereo out to show up. Good luck!

export the midi

use ableton live or whatever with a VST sample library to make it not sound like suck

render as waveform or whatever

Is this in Guitar Pro or in Windows? Because I'm having the same issue.
