Wow - when did you secure the Cookie Monster to do lead vocals?

Musically its quite interesting, is it all just you making it all?

I agree, either the vocal screams need work, or try a different style of singing over it. Just becasue its the "Genre" doesn't mean you must stick to those style of vocals.... personally, I prefer more extreme music with vocals that actually sing something... even if its just screaming in key.

do something like this:

Jonathan Peterson is the best vocalist alive (and the second best throughout time).

That was great. The fast parts reminded me of Dillinger Escape Plan.

Crowley: Yes it's all me.

I was going to redo the exhaled growls, but the Audacity file messed up, so they are staying like that I guess.

I am working on a new song. I will really concentrate on the growls when I record it.

New Song, called Cataclysmic Circumcision Method.
Enjoy!

I want to get this thread renamed "Parvulus Atrum" . How can I do that?

Well, I've took a listen.... and I believe the vocals sound death metal. I've done some listening to cannibal corpse and such and it sounds alright. I think the reason why so many people are attacking the vocals is because they're more used to modern more gernal way to 'scream'. They're probably expecting something more like Atreyu... And if you're not hurting yourself, then that's good.

The music is pretty good. Not the best qaulity. The vocals need to be mixed more into the song, though. It should be WITH the song not over the song. Turn the vocals down just a tad and the music will get right in there.

Other than that, it's promising death metal, man.

New song.

Nintendo 64 dedicated to the Nintendo 64 Kid.

I wake up in the morning and I see the pile of gifts awaiting me. Underneath my lighted plastic Christmas tree.
Santa came and went.
Ate my cookies that I left out for him.
All my presents are crap.

I open my last gift oh no it's a it's a it's a

I liked the songs (and I'm not a big death metal fan) but I'll echo what everyone else said: you need to mix the vocals a little lower so that they're "in" the song instead of "over" it.

Damnit. I forgot about that. Okay.

I'm not a huge metal fan so I'll try and be objective:
I liked the riffs and the drumming but when the growling started I honestly laughed. It may be due to what the others pointed out, that it's not mixed in enough. The beginnning guitars sounded a bit muddled as well, but that may be just my bias idk :\
