Anyone else think the new Good Charlotte single is a shameless ripoff of Alkaline Trio? That's the first thing I thought of when I listened to it. I say plagiarism!!!! See for yourself

EDIT:Give this one a listen too: It's called "Misery"

Their new CD is called "Good Morning Revival". One of Alkaline Trio's classic album's is "Good Mourning". Coincidence? Conspiracy? You decide.

Also, their "new look"

Did you leave that first comment on the youtube page by any chance?

I must say it has a similar sound to a song I remember off Crimson.

Basically Alkaline Trio is lyrically fantastic (imho), and GC is a lyrically retarded and musically bland band.

Well they are certainly not the most original band out there to be quite honest.

Wow. I hate GC even more now. Just by the looks/sounds of it they probably intentionally ripped them off.

But when you rip off AT, that's crossing the goddamn line. They need to be sued for plagiarism foserious.

Yeah man, ripping off bad bands isn't something we can take lightly!

From ripping off Iggy Pop's Lust for Life (of whom's drumbeat was a stolen bo diddley rhythm itself) to ripping off AT.
