This is my band Billy Raygun.
We just finished an album for the RPM challenge last february (www.rpmchallenge.com), we've played one show, and are lining up a couple more for the near future.

yeah, I've actually heard you guys before.
there's some quite interesting melodies here. but some of them, sadly, go right past me without leaving a print.
but when you guys get all chaotic and **** - it's very comfortable to listen to.
love Tripple Jimmy Massacre.
keep up the good work:thumb:

thanks, its encouraging when people say stuff like that, obviously. but it also makes me feel more inspired. (in case you can't tell, im in the band, too).

Melt : Ummm.... initially I thought it just didn't work, but hearing the more stripped back verse, then the more mixed up chorus kinda works. I really like the sound you've recorded on this track. Raw and unpolished, yet still audible.
I Win : I almost felt like I was at a Sonic Youth Gig on acid there for the first part (and I don't like Sonic Youth at all, so gauge that comment on the intro). A little too structureless for me. I like having a point to a song... Just my thing really. (though you are correct... God does listen to Slayer)
Triple Jimmy Massacre : Reminded me of a less screamy dead kennedys song. I was kinda expecting the talking parts to be interspersed with a changup in the chords and a sung chorus of sorts... woulda made it much cooler (imo)
Fire : Not really my thing.
Melt is my favourite of the tracks as it seemed to really work for my ears...... I was a little confused by your "About Billy Raygun" on the MySpace page. I thought it may have been some nerdy psudeo code... but alas, its just another screwed up myspace page with visible css coding.

Thanks for the feedback man.
Triple Jimmy is usually just a jam, with a little bit of singing for a chorus, but this was recorded a couple of months ago and the song has changed up a little to what you've recommened, which I suppose is a good thing.
I've been trying to get Fire taken down for a while. The drummer is keeping it up I think because it was the first song we recorded, but I might be able to get one of our better songs up soon.
And yea, we suck as css.

Melt: Really great. I really like the vocals and bass in this song. drums and guitar sound pretty good too. Definitly my favorite
I win: like what crowley said, its too structureless, it seems like its not really going anywhere.
Triple Jimmy : Intro was the best part (drums were really good), once the talking started its just kinda generic. You should add a different part to the song that has some singing in it.

I'm also in this band. I agree with what everyone has been saying so far. If I had it my way all the songs would be like Triple Jimmy, and we could cut all the Sonic Youth bull ****. That's never going to happen, but I wouldn't mind it.
