Started watching this, it's quite entertaining.

I can't help but feel everyone on the forum has probably seen it before, i've only just heard of it. Anyways it's a pretty sick (in both senses of the word) metal themed cartoon for those haven't seen it.

There's a full album coming out, simply called "DETHALBUM", and will feature Gene Hoglan on drums.

The whole recording the heaviest album of all time in the deepest, most brutal trench of the ocean thing i found amusing.

Murderface slap bassing with his genitals was sort of funny too.

I love this show. It's nothing but references and jokes about metal, so if you know nothing about metal, it would be tough to really enjoy.

There's a few on there, it is fairly easy to torrent the whole series though.

It's mainly the subtle and not so subtle references to Death/Black metal culture that go over people's heads.

for example in episode 1 -

When the band members are recalling the deaths of their other chefs to their new chef, it is mentioned that one of their chefs became depressed and blew his brains out, to which Toki remarks that it made a great album cover. This is a reference to the notorious Norwegian black metal band, Mayhem, whose former singer, Dead, blew his brains out with a shotgun. Mayhem later used polaroids taken of the aftermath of his suicide for an album cover.

I had no idea about that until i read it.

Season 2 is pretty good so far, the episode where Toki wants to break out and pwn Swissgar on lead guitar is my favourite so far.

The first episode was kind of meh but dethlessons was business as usual. The show has always been kind of patchy though IMO.

Going to watch the 3rd one now.
