i liked time crisis a lot, but after you beat the game like 3-4 times, it can get pretty dull

no whey i play games like diablo ii and shi multiplayer

the problem with hl-2 is that it doesn't want to run on my pc without massive amounts of lag (apparently my geforce fx 5200 isn't strong enough) so i had to play it on x-box and i don't have x-box live because i almost never play my x-box so that = :(

The original Quake, i used to put Pantera's Great Southern Trendkill in whilst i played and it was awesome as a soundtrack.

Also the original Unreal Tournament, i made a mix of really thrashy songs on a cd i used to listen to whilst playing. I remember it started with Ride The Lightning and War Ensemble. Kept me entertained for hours, it was really intense with headphones.

I know there are technically better FPS games but i've never played any as much as this.

Half-Life 2 for me. just everything about it is so fascinating. i love the mystery involved, how we are now getting somewhere piece by piece. i just love the whole dystopian theme and setting.

Half-Life 2 was fun and all, but the AI was severely lacking and that brought the game down a few notches.

For a single player experience, F.E.A.R. has to be hands down the most fun and intense experience I have had on a FPS. Interesting story, fairly intelligent AI system mixed with some real fun to use guns and bullet time.

For multi-player, GOTY Unreal Tournament and CS 1.6 are my favorites.

I played a little bit of single player HL2 at a friend's house once. It was fun, haven't played it enough to gather a strong opinion.

Deus Ex is the best single player FPS, for multiplayer, probably TFC :D

F.E.A.R is my FPS of choice, granted the shock factor ends quickly (Comes pretty predictable when the little girl is going to jump out etc). The AI is amazing on the hardest difficulty and actually work as a team, I hate it when they flank you.

I'm one of the few gamers who don't really care about graphics. As long as its 3D and you know what you're looking at, I'm content (Mech Warrior 2 is a prime example).
