Well I needed a bass to bring back to my dorm because I just stopped playing while I was away. I wanted something cheap but still good. So I decided to buy the Squier Vintage Precision Bass. I know everyone hates Squiers but I wanted a bass to bring back with me. I know I'm going to get flamed when you see the last pic of my other p bass. I'll admit, I'm a P bass whore, I can't help it:upset: It sounds really nice, but it is a Squier. Knobs, bridge are cheap, the bodies light, and the finish is beautiful.

I don't understand the sick obsession with tort + burst.
It just doesn't look nice. :p

Almost.
Tort + white is acceptable.

Tort on Black is the sexiest thing on this Earth. No questions :D

Yeah, I won't fight you on that one either.
Tort has its uses, but it's definitely not the universal colour people think it is. :p

Good bass. Really, I almost played with a Squier P over my 'Ray the other day. Money and brans don't matter a thing.
Not to mention, a bad Precision is VERY hard to find (if it's a Fender, anyway), unless it's an Affinity Squier.

nice! I've been thinking about getting one of the basses myself, as i'd really like a "real" p-bass. The only thing holding me back from getting it is the fear of it falling apart in a few years.
if i can't get the Hoppus bass i want, i think i'll be getting one of these vintage modified precisions.

I want to pick up another P copy and throw some flats on it.

So you decided to get it eh?
Nice bass none the less, I really dig them. Really a steal for what you get.

i hear the vintage series is actually pretty decent compared to the typical squire.
not a bad buy.

I never would've thought of this but this might be a really ace idea.
Wont work of course assuming the sunburst one is a real Fender.

IMO, White on White looks very wimpy and bad (first hand experience..) White P basses MUST have black pickguards.. on vintage white(almost Cream) it looks even better.

The bridge looks slightly crooked on it, other than that it looks nice.

In order for a white Precision Bass to look cool, it must have a black pickguard. No ifs, not buts. It's known as Simonon's Law.
Also, black pickguard on a sunburst bass with a nitro satin finish = complete and utter sexiness.

My preference when it comes to precisions is white with a silver pearloid pickguard, but an ebony board is a must, with black hardware.
It doesn't look too bad at all, hope it does the job for you. :thumb:
