Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for a decent practice amp. I see alot under-$100 cheapies, but I don't think I want one of those.
I'm basically looking for something with a good, clear tone, versatile EQ, and headroom. Doesn't have to be really powerful or giggable, it just needs to sound good and have as much headroom as possible. Even better if it can be heard over drums, but it's not necessary. I stress that tone is the most important factor!
My pricerange is about $200. I was thinking about something like these but I dunno.

Or maaaybe even this, and just hook it up to a small 1x15 cab.

maybe the roland bass cube?

Hey that's a good idea, I didn't know they made bass versions of the cube!

And thanks Ignus, I'll try out some Ashdowns too. :)

I'm pretty satisfied with my 30W Ibanez amp.
