Just gorgeous. Extra pickup, nicer body, it just looks great. Anybody played one?
This, and the ATK reissues are actually making me like Ibanez.

My friend has the guitar, it has a really nice sound but it's definitely harder to play than a regular electric.

I don't think much of the Artcores, but I'm absolutely GAGGING for an ATK. Shame money is nowhere to be found :upset:

I have an Artcore guitar and I absolutely love it. It's definitely my favorite guitar.
I'm not sure what Ignus is talking about, it's not any harder to play than any other electric.

i have an artcore electric guitar and i have always loved it. i played the artcore bass the other day and it was just like picking up my guitar. it felt so much more natural than all ther others. i would get it just for that reason alone. still that aside it sounded ace through the peavey tnt amp i played.

i'm digging the simplicity and the fact that it is standard scale length (34").

I haven't noticed that. My guitarist has one and I've played it quite a few times. Nothing wrong :p
About the basses.. yeah, well.. hollow body sound and nothing really special I thought. But I briefly played one.

I want one. That'd be such a sweet bass to kick around the house with because of it's short scale and the fact that it's hollowbody. Probably hold me over until I get my Citron.

There's a sunburst one in bass centre i was looking at the other day, absolutely beautiful looking. Didn't get to play it but i'm thinking i might trade my Washburn in and get it if it feels/sounds nice.

I saw a bassist of a local band play one. he had a fretless neck beyond the 12th fret. Interesting idea, though its not really my cup of tea.

I don't know if I've played a Lakland hollowbody.

The one in the first link looks like a Tootsie Pop.
I cannot play something that looks like something I would eat.
