What are some good shows on the television these days.

Basically all I watch right now is Smallville and Dexter.

Dexter was sweet.. keep watching after Smallville for Supernatural.

Also - The Shield, The Sopranos (you can skip the first half of season six) and Rescue Me for starters...

Attack of the Show
The Office
Seinfeld
Countdown with Keith Olbermann

That's about all I watch on a regular basis. Well, maybe Heroes too, but, it's just okay for me.

I'd say 24, but it's almost halfway into the season and it kinda sucks this year. But, if you think you can follow the show from the middle, it's on at 9 on Mondays on Fox.

House - Tuesday 9PM EST on Fox
The Office - Thursday 8:30 on NBC - new episodes start April 5th

Jericho's mad corny, I love it.

The new season of The Sopranos starts april 8th, I believe. Find some way to catch up on the last 5 1/2 seasons though.

I stopped watching 24, since having to wait a week for an hour ruins the storyline for me. I'm waiting until all 24 episodes are out to get into season 6.

I'm pretty sure the storyline is ruining the storyline.

Anything HBO puts out is generally good. The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, Ali G Show, Six Feet Under (which is done now), etc.

Also, NBC just started a new show called Raines with Jeff Goldblum as the main character--I expected it to be lame but it's really quite good. Hopefully it won't derail and go off the deep end after a few episodes like a lot of shows do.

The Wire, Rescue Me, South Park.

Also Shark. It has James Woods which makes it good

Ah, yes. Six Feet Under. I've been Netflixing that show lately.

I do believe that Season 2 Disk 5 comes in today. \:D /

The Wire

Probably my favorite show ever. One more season left until they pull the plug.

Rome was good, but that just ended.

When does the new Curb Your Enthusiasm season start?

The Office is starting to go downhill but is still funny as hell. I like My Name is Earl, too. Penn and Teller's Bullshit is really entertaining but you have to take it with a grain of salt.

The new Curb episodes are supposed to start late this year. September or October is what I've heard.

seasons 1&2 are awesome but the show starts to go down hill after season 3.

season 4 only has about 4 good episodes the rest is complete garbage. The characters really start to piss me off some times when they go on their stupid little rants

Kage
04-01-2007, 06:12 PM
As the show goes on, things just keep crumbling and there's constant grief. It seems like if some of the characters would just get a ****ing hold of themselves then they could avoid a lot of the drama they go through.

CSI (Original)
Scrubs

Otherwise I just watch whatever happens to be on. I haven't watched Futurama in way too long. I don't bother finding it on TV because I own the whole series on DVD.

Trailer park boys season 7 next week mafuka!

I enjoy the Black Donnelys, it's only like 4 eps in to the season so it'll be easy to just start watching.

Kithkin, This American Life is on Showtime, right? I wish I got that channel. I have grown up on NPR, and I really like that show.

Der Übermensch
04-01-2007, 08:38 PM
South Park. Last Episode was a classic.

Other then that, I can't think of any.

Lost and 24 have both been subpar this season.
Dexter, Rome and Battlestar all just ended their seasons (Rome I think permanently)

The Tudors starts tonight (1/2 hour or so)... I'm gonna watch it, looks like it should be good.

Anything on the History Channel, from Hitler biographies to the History of paint.

Police Videos. "This fugitive obviously doesn't care one iota about respecting citizens rights and respecting authority. Faced with no other alternative, these brave men in blue decide to act fast and go for the take down, because these fierce heroes never mess around when lives hang in the balance."

Always brings the lulz.

I think that's what the blurb says at the beginning of the episodes I've downloaded from the internetz.

The female lead in the winner was hotter and funnier in Kitchen Confidential.

The only time I really sit down and watch TV is Thursday's on NBC. Start with My Name is Earl, then The Office, then Scrubs.

Those are the only shows I really watch. I'll usually watch whatever's on the History Channel if I'm channel surfing, that stuff is normally pretty cool.

Only thing I watch on TV these days is Mythbusters and Lost. Free to air is so **** house in Australia these days.

But I do watch Heroes, Prison Break, South Park, The Shield, Scrubs, BSG and 24.

The latter 2 are a little disappointing at the moment.
