Found a great way to get free b-movies mailed to you for free.

You have to put in your cell phone number and they instantly send you a code that you put in to verify the account. They give you 25 "switchbucks" which is the currency for the trading, so? so there are b-movies for like 1-6 switchbucks each.

I managed to get 6 movies with case, jacket, insert, everything. 4 movies were sent within two days of joining and the other two haven't been mailed yet. (Bloodlust, Bone Daddy, Virus, Lost Souls, Robocop 3, Dawn of the Dead remake) So you see it's not just b-movies you can get obviously. If you're willing to take disc only movies people will send some for 1 switchbuck.

Absolutely free, senders pay shipping so you can just use up your 25 switchbucks and forget about the site without getting the credit card out ever.

Other site I put up ended up being lame, this one works and is free so yeah, if you have a cell phone and an address go for it and help me build my movie collection aswell. :chug:

glomobi (sp?) for one. and i think it has like a parent company or something that is based in italy that has been giving people alot of problems.

cool. I still highly doubt the same thing is going on here even if it went on with globomi, but I can wait until the end of next month and see if there was any funny charge on my bill and tell anyone who really wants some dvd's but were worried about something like that going on.

Glomobi makes you text them a message verifying you want their services, and in the small text of the commercials it will tell you you're going to get charged. A company can't add $10 to your cell phone bill just by you giving them your number.

I forgot to add that you can also get some xbox and ps2 games. Also games like king kong for the 360 are 20 switchbucks.

I mean I download my movies, I'm going to burn the movies I get from this site and trade them in to blockbuster for 5$ each because blockbuster will take anything.

Yeah its really only marketing, unless there has been a lot of care and consideration taken into the creation of the package that it's worth picking up.

I'm mainly a horror movie addict, I have over 150 horror DVD's. There are torrents for a lot of great horror movies, but finding great b-horror movies that are still being seeded can be really hard. Especially if you like menus and extras...

I have a movie being mailed to me that I've never heard of called "Bone Daddy" featuring the legendary Rutger Hauer. Also this german 70's exploitation horror movie called "Bloodlust" that I can't wait to see. I also picked up Lost Souls because I've never seen it but I'm interested in it because of the cinematography aspect of the movie.

The beauty about this site is that the people that end up with these "bad" or older movies, think they are worthless and let them go for practically nothing. Also like I said before, blockbuster will give you 5$ for pretty much any dvd you bring in. I've brought in some horridly cheap crap time and time again, and they always give me 5$ credit for each one.


here are a few more great horror movies you can pick up:

The Evil Dead - 8 switchbucks (best one in my opinion, would definitely of selected it if I didn't already own it)

Night of the Living Dead - 10 switchbucks

Serpent and the Rainbow - 5 switchbucks (no dvd jacket, just disc and case. again would have selected if I didn't own it)


I haven't really ventured out of the horror section of the site, but from what I've seen it is definitely worth writing your cell phone number down and then writing down the code it gives you. "Lifeforce" is 20 switchbucks, that chick that walks around naked the whole movie is worth writing down your cell phone number. See how hard I'm trying to sell this site? That should tell people who have the same taste as I do that it is worthy of your time. :p

anyone who doesn't care for movies and just downloads the latest blockbuster hit on bittorrent probably shouldn't bother, this is a site for genre fans and collectors


ps: for anyone who cares: I've been watching more new straight to video horror movies lately, as soon as I'm not as busy with moving I'm going to resurrect my review thread and write a load of reviews. Hopefully I can keep some videos from boring you to death and steer you towards some low profile gems in the massive straight-to-video horror market. :thumb:
