I'd like that fretless Jazz you have. Interested in my Winters?

Alright guys, this is a sweet sweet bass, but I learned too late after buying it that I'm not a fan of the fender shape. Made by local luthier John Winters, this bass is pretty damn sweet.
Ok...

I have recording projects coming up that need a fretless. It's the stage look I dislike.

Doesn't matter how it looks on record.
There's this crazy new media called "music", which can be made into formats not seen by an audience.
Take your flaming somewhere else, and go masturbate on your sadowsky some more.

Ok... the custom I'm getting is fretless, I want to build a fretless. I'm just suffering from G.A.S. Bah, for some reason I want a lot of basses right now.
Those are the Super Ferrite pickups, right?

I considered bidding on this, but I'm just a little short and my parents say I don't need multiple basses so they won't help me out. :(

Nope, they're a Peavey/DiMarzio P/J set. They're both hum canceling. They were made by DiMarzio for Peavey.

The Winters Jazz compared to the Fender Fretless Jazz?
BTW, if you and AP wanted to go through with the trade, I could spray the Winters any color red you would like.

Yep.
If I had to compare the 2, it wouldn't be fair. It might be, or sound, a bit biased. Actually, they're both good basses for what they are. The fretless one doesn't have as many tonal possibilities because the black one has the active EQ in her. Although, the fretless one does have a very nice warm, woody tone.
