£79 for bass whammy?

Ok so theres a second hand good condition bass whammy in the music store in town, some questions:

are they really that rare?

can anyone give me a ballpark price for one? I looked on t3h net but theres only this dude selling one for $500 on ebay.

Any quick responses would be appreciated cause i hope to buy it tomorrow just wanna make sure its as good a deal as i think it is.

i sold mine to some guy in the UK for $125USD.

that's a steal, though. they usually go for at least $300USD on eBay.

ok, so that's about 155 in USD. I would definitley go for it if it worked fine.

I'd definitely try it out for a good deal of time to see how it works and if you like it and if it'll crap out or not.

If I remember correctly about a year ago there were a few on e-bay, and the lowest price i saw was about 199ish.

They are pretty rare since they've been discontinued for awhile. If i was in your place and found one for that cheap that worked fine I'd definitley jump on it.

I'll probably keep it though, it sounded good when i tried it, only problem was the fags in the store made me play through a guitar amp. :confused:
But if i go in tomorrow with money they'll pamper me with class amps n stuff to play on so ill buy it lol.
