Finally watched it.
I am never going to underrate David Lynch's ability to create a film that can be so utterly confusing and makes no sense at all on first watch. Just like Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway I left it going wtf, there better be a good interpretation for this.
Some scenes that really stood out for me were that of the mutant baby crying, i found that almost intolerable. The lady in the radiator singing was creepy, and the chickens WTF. I figured the baby had to be some kind of symbolic link between Henry and his wife, as it was the source of all worry and trouble. Adultery kept running through my mind, and perhaps that it was representative of it i felt. But the woman in the radiator, the chickens, and the strange man in the rock threw me off completely i could not fit them in anywhere. I never felt so baffled in my life.
I read a couple of interpretations now i have shivers going down my spine. It fits together well now, and the final scene of Henry embracing the lady in the radiator (suicide) is scaring the **** out of me. That scene where she steps on the worms (stamping out sin through death), struck me with a lot of relevance after i read that. Very powerful film indeed.
