The music is pretty good. Im not a huge fan of the style to begin with but it isnt bad. My only problem is with the vocalist. She can sing well, dont get me wrong but she is boring as ****. You need her to sing more dynamics and to drink a few red bulls before recording or taking the stage. I was bored during the parts she sang.

Your singer sucks.
Get rid of her.

the vocalist reminds me of Sonny Moore. that is not a compliment.
but the melodies are good. even though the intro of UnWrong kind'a... ain't my thing - to put it nicely:p
but the distorted guitars work very well. the drumming is really good as well. and the bass guitar does a magnificent job of not becoming invisible, playing the same thing as the guitarists (as some bassplayers tend to do).
so - the conclusion:
pros:
brilliant bass
good drumming (especially on UnWrong and Sell Out)
nice chord progression
cons:
the guitars could be more harmonic (save for Sell Out - which contained some really awesome guitar shredding)
the vocalist
ratings:
WTTA 3.5/5
awful vocals. not exceptionally good or creative lyrics. awesome melody. just awesome. this would have gotten 4.5/5, if it weren't for the vocals and lyrics.
Lost 2/5
awful vocals. nice guitar intro. excellent, relaxed drumming. the bass is too low in the mix. good constructed chorus
UnWrong 2.5/5
terrible intro, in my opinion. awesome drumming. fantastic bass. great guitar interplay, save for the intro. the vocals really kills the tranquil feeling of the verses.
Sell Out 3/5
the guitars are awesome. great drumming. the bass is once again a bit low in the mix. the vocals are better here than on the other tracks.

If you guys were produced by someone rather than just home recordings you'd probably sound pretty good. Your singer needs to sing with more feeling and enthusiasm. Remember that the singer is the first impression of every band so make sure that the vocals aren't anything short of spectacular. She's got some good ideas but tell her to really let the mic have it!!

Ya know what, I kinda disagree with the "ditch the vocalist" comments. I was a little unsure during the first half of the first song, but I kinda got a vibe with it and I think it fits obscurely well. It kind of reminded me of heavy rock/metal meets the breeders.
With her vocals though, I would LOVE to hear some harmony vocals in there to give it some spice. I know what people mean by they sound a little boring, but I think thats because she does have a fairly similar tone with her singing (if she found some *grit* wouldn't go astray with the music style either)
Same with the song Lost... during the quiet bits, the single vocal sounds right, but when its heavier, a nicely positioned harmony vocal would just add so much more hook in there.
UnWrong sounds... ummmm Wrong? The intro anyway. I read in the bio Simon is the Megadeth fan and it just sounded like a painfully slow and untechnical peice inspired by the end of She Wolf by Megadeth.
Great intro bass riff adding to the guitars in Sell Out. There is a little more grit in Frans voice on this track in places and its probably my favourite of her performances out of the 4 tracks. Great riffs and use of dynamics bringing the verse/chorus/verse transitions too.
All said and done, I think you are certainly on the right track. Bit punchier vocals and some harmonies in there would do the world of good.

I just must comment this.
because I really can't describe how much I disagree. the "home recording" sound is superior to what any major label's big shot producer could ever produce.
keep it indie and diy:thumb:

there are very few people in this world that have enough insight to record themselves and it come out good. A producer doesn't mean he's going to be hired by a major label... It means he/she's going to have a fresh objectionable ear to songs that the writers have heard countless amounts of times. I bet you a bajillion dollars over half the bands/ artists you listen to are produced in some way... even if it's not "in the studio"

That's pretty good
I wasn't actually serious about assuming it would sound bad i was just having a little fun.
To get back on topic:
In this band's case a producer would probably work out best... at least for the vocals. It wouldn't be to change the sound either, it's just that some producers bring out the best in musicians somehow
PS when i can i'll re pos rep you...
