duke is playing at a nearby college and we couldve gone for free if our music instructor had gotten our ensemble to play in the festival
oh did i mention that we have a concert that night.
like a college concert band will have an audience when ellington is playing 20 minutes away
Duke Ellington has been dead for 25 years.

Even if it's just the orchestra, I wouldn't be too worried about missing it. The greatest members of his bands are long dead, the best that's still alive to my knowledge is Louis Bellson, and he's not exactly in prime condition.

The Count Basie orchestra still plays some awesome jazz standards to this very day.
