It might've been worth it had I gotten my **** together a while ago, but now it would seem silly to start a band- Since I'm leaving in a few months and all.

Depends what you're looking for. I won't pay more than $30 for an eighth of mids (even that much is a stretch), and usually around $50 for KB.

You can start looking yourself and when you find a few prospects, then inform the band that you found some really good singers that blow you out of the water. Hopefully they will agree and then you can go about playing whatever instrument it is that you play.

I have a really expressive voice. It changes whatever my emotion. I also wave my hands around a lot when I talk.
