Hey everyone. Tomorrow night on RAGE, will be a Billy Thorpe special. Following that, there will be a general playlist of Aussie rockers like: Cold Chisel, AC/DC, INXS, and various others.
So if you're living in Australia, check it out. Otherwise, try watch it on the internet or something. Check playlist here: http://www.abc.net.au/rage/playlist/archive/2007/20070317.htm
RIP Billy Thorpe.

Sounds good...except it's on too late and I'll be asleep tonight before golf tomorrow morning.
Tape it for me?

Interesting playlist. The only song I know of by Billy Thorpe was 'Some people I know (think I'm crazy)'. I'll check out more of his stuff when I have time.

Goes for 3-4 hours, before all the new clips come in. Just set your VCR (or DVD recorder) for all the clips that you want to see. I used to do that.
These days, I watch until I get sleepy. Then, after waking up the next morning, get angry for falling asleep and missing the good videos.

I gotta be totally honest here and I will be sledged for it but anyway, I think Billy Thorpe was over rated and he relied heavily on one big single everyone knows and a couple of covers.
I will be watching the new releases on rage tonight though.

Yeh, I don't fancy Billy Thorpe too much. But yeah, I haven't heard a lot of his other music, but he has been a major part of the Australian LOCAL rock scene. I'm sure if I were living back in those days, I would have gladly headbanged to his music. Simply vision him and the Aztecs as a slightly bigger than usual bar band.

Yeah you are right, you dont get the recognition that he got unless you are a pretty big player in the scene. Influenced a lot of people but not me.
Looks like a pretty good lineup of videos. If I'm home from town, or still awake, I'll put it on.

Uh, I just love seeing those huge tanked goliaths in those tiny shorts. Makes me wonder why the short shorts died out in the NBA...
