They were on 3 albums. So it's hard to say.

Overkill are pretty generic like most thrash is. But at least they're better than most thrash bands.

Kill 'em all and Ride the Lightning were. Even Master of Puppets wasn't a thrash album.

Are you kidding? Overkill is far from generic.

Generic is like Living Death or something.

The Years of Decay is the best, closely followed by Horrorscope.

if Master of Puppets isn't Thrash then either are Testament, Xentrix or a million other bands who played like that.

anyway Overkill are good. Feel The Fire wins.

Well, he's kind of right, MoP is thrash, but it also has many elements of speed, heavy and progressive.

I saw Overkill at Gigantour, and got a pic with their lead singer, I also own Horrorscope, really cool band, they really sound old school.

It's a thrash album, just not a very good one.

The only really thrashy songs on it are Battery and Damage, Inc.

Disposable Heroes too, but yeah. That's about it.

As far as I'm concerned, Metallica has been thrash from Kill 'Em All to AJFA, and they tried with St. Anger...but that was just Trash, not Thrash...

+1

Though I probably haven't heard enough off Kill and Ride to really judge

Still my favorite metal band....so yes, my favorite Thrash band. Consistency wise, I think they are great. They've only released a couple weak albums, however even those still have their moments. I've bought pretty much their entire discography minus a few live albums....but I've also added on to my collection their live DVD :).

It's tough to say which would their best album.....Feel the Fire, Taking Over, Years of Decay, Horrorscope, and WFO would be my top 5.
