Hey anyone from the Toronto area, I am new to the city, and i was wondering if any of you knew where a good place to get CD's was . . . I would like any insight . . . thanks a lot . . .

I buy almost all of my music there. Lots of used stuff, new albums come in every day. Used CDs are always in MINT condition otherwise they're called "Scuffed". The HMV on Yonge, just north of Dundas (it's their main location) also has a surprisingly decent selection. For the alt/indie spectrum, Rotate This on Queen, just west of Bathurst, is pretty sweet too.

The cool thing about Sonic Boom, besides the fact they'll buy literally anything, is that they're open until midnight.

It's just outside of Bathurst station, so it's easy to get to. Get off, walk up to Bloor (like a 2 second walk) and turn left. Voila! Diagonally across from Honest Ed's.

And there are plenty more places too, you just have to take a day and wander. That's how I figured the city out.
