Ry Cooder

I bought his latest work, "My Name Is Buddy" yesterday. Really cool country album about a cat. Other than that, I only have "The Chavez Ravine", which I find is a very cool album. And of course I own the "Buena Vista Social Club" as well.

Could I please have any suggestions for good Ry Cooder albums??

I bought Chicken Skin Music today because it was the only Cooder CD at the store I went to that I didn't already have...

I like the cover. Looks like it could have more of a latin feel like The Chavez Ravine

Bop Till You Drop is classic Ry. It's also the first digitally recorded comercial release. Very good.

The Slide Area is another good one not mentioned yet.

Music By Ry Cooder is a fantastic collection of his work in movies.

Talking Timbuktu is one of his ventures into world music - this time with west African guitarist Ali Farka Toure. Pretty cool.
