I like what i like, but won't dismiss something just because it's different. I'm heavily into Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and a bunch of other classic rock stuff. Quite a few current mainstream bands i'm into, I also love love love Flamenco, ICM and most other forms of world music. Jazz of all forms, and blues definately hold a big spot for me. Rap and Hip Hop i'm not heavily into, but i can appreciate quite a few artists and like what they do. A fair bit of rock and metal too.
The only thing with any form of music that lets me down is a complete lack of originality or putting something out half heartedly, otherwise it's all good in some shape or form, really depends what kinda mood i'm in.

I love* when I meet new people and ask them what kind of music they like.. .. EVERYONE answers "well, a little bit of everything".. And then usually follow it up with something like "you know.. Except for rap, hip hop, r'nb, jazz, classical music.."
One guy I talked seriously said, "I have a pretty diverse taste in music, you know, everything from Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, to Aerosmith, and Metallica (And I bet you he didn't mean anything pre, or post Black album)".... I had a hard time not laughing him right into his face
