Crippled Black Phoenix

Group formed by members of Portishead, Electric Wizard and Mogwai.
The debut album, A Love of Shared Disasters, is recorded at State of Art Studios in Bristol. Barrow Geoff (Portishead) , who is a part owner of the studio, produced the disc and will release it on his own Invada Records.


The songs are by the the members themselves describe as "end time ballads", and "Born from a blizzard of horned cats, Crippled Black Phoenix bring you a twisted cinematic experience, handcrafted by a mercenary crew of underground heavyweights, giving depth and gravity to regal songs about love, loss, tragedies and redemption."

This is probaly one of the most pretentious statements I have ever heard in my life. I know that word has been thrown around a ton lately, but honestly, jesus christ.

bringing this up to make for more people to check them out... stunning band, and so they should be with a line-up like that.
