Movie Soundtracks

Recently I obtained Little Miss Sunshine and watched it for the second time.
It seems that the second you see a movie you see and hear things that you really don't need to pay attention that much too.

One of the things being, the soundtrack.
LMS is not a type of movie that is dominated by what is play under the scenes but it really does add to the mood.

Now, I really don't know alot about movie soundtracks
But uh, I thought it would be interesting to atleast discuss some of our favorites.



Also, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what other artist sound like that on LMS I will post a link to the official MySpace

In Me Myself and Irene they picked the perfect song for whenever he goes crazy.

The Life Aquatic, what a soundtrack that was, I've never seen a movie where the OS was actually performed onscreen (By Seu Jorge).

The soundtrack to Taxi Driver is perfect, it really captures the dirty, sleazy mood of the film.

Also, Amelie and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Snatch and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels both have great soundtracks.

I really like Clint Mansell's stuff, I have the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack, and I used to have the Pi one. Both really good. In fact, if anyone has any recommendations of bands/artists like him, let me know, I've been listening to those soundtracks a lot.
