Why would you need both the heritage AND jazz brush? It's the exact same thing, but a different handle. You either like one or the other more. They aren't made for different things.

I'm pretty satisfied with my Starclassics and cymbal setup. I almost bought a 2nd bass drum last month, but decided I should hold off on all drum purchases until I know where I'm going to college.

Oh rly??
Ok well I figured it out. It's the program called Grab. But... I can't figure out how to save it with the right extension. It saves it under .tiff and not .jpg or any valid link that will work on photobucket.
Mirror.Circuit
03-04-2007, 10:53 PM
open the .tiff in preview, and save it as a .jpg.
Sabian4015
03-04-2007, 11:00 PM
You cannot save this document with extension ".jpg" at the end of the name. The required extension is ".tiff". -mac pwning me once again .. ..
Mirror.Circuit
03-05-2007, 12:48 AM
you don't put a .jpg at the end of the file name.
you can choose the file type if you choose "save as".
there is where you choose .jpg as the file type.

My cymbal line up is pretty much as I want it. I'm happy drumwise, though when I have money for some Sonor Designers, yeah :thumb:

I had the heritage brushes and I wanted some thicker gauge wire so I found the jazz brushes...plus the heritage ones are old...someone game me the rakes.

It's called kit constructor. I personally like using the dw one off the dw web site http://dwdrums.com
Kit constructor II
http://mitglied.lycos.de/Gerulat/DD/Test.html
just one of the download links. I'm sorry the sites in another language. I suggest using the site mega upload site to download from. It is the easiest I think.

Yes, mostly progressive metal and a lot of death metal (although I do dabble in funk.)

Ah cool. I always expected metal drummers to have really bright cymbals (xplosions.....)
nice though, 14" K hats are the way to go. My friend's selling his for something like £135, but I already have other nice hats though and don't want to buy unnecessary cymbalage
I'm about to work out how to make my lil diagram thingy......

Im always looking for unique set-ups, thus the reason i come to these threads. But everytime I come up with something... I always change back to 1 tom up, 1 tom down. Its annoying cos I want something a bit more unique... but that set-up, or the basis of that set-up is all round the best one (for me-and probably a lot other)

Ive gone back to my 4 piece now. But Im working on a shopping list. I'll edit that into this post later :P
Here's what I have now:

Heres what I hope to end up with:
http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j247/drummerboi_sam/Next.jpg
1. 8" head-I already have an 8" drum but it has a mesh head on it, so I wanna get a proper head and see what it sounds like.
2. China-This or upgrade one of my other cymbals
3. Keyboard-Already have one but it's not set-up in that position, mainly cos of lack of space at the moment.
4. 2nd Snare Drum-I want one to the left of my hi-hat, not sure about which one I want yet.
