I am trying to record from my TD-12 to a recorder so I can then upload to the PC However I need a thing and I dont know what its called.....

Basically the input on the recorder is thin and I cannot fit the jack lead into it. What I need is a thing that plugs into the recorders input, which I can then put the jack lead into...

I have one for my headphones but its the wrong way around, this one has a jack lead input, but with a small input into that...

I need a device that allows me to plug a jack lead into a thin input...

Any help is worth of some rep!

something like this
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103707&cp=&sr=1&origkw=1%2F4+to+1%2F8&kw=1%2F4+to+1%2F8&parentPage=search
and a 1/4" cable might work, otherwise

would work wonders. Make sure you get stereo for whatever method you choose.

I've used the adapter and it does the trick, I'm sure the cable would work, but there could be a chance of decreased quality, but that I am unsure of.
