I have a feeling the answer is no, but is there any sort of Band in a Box program for Macintosh computers I could use to get a jazz/shuffle backing track for a certain chord progression? So I could practice a solo over the top?

The piece is Count Bubba by Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, great tune, you've gotta check it out if you're into that sort of music....

Thanks, 6

The answer is yes.

Midi sounds awful but it does what you want.

You have to read the post after it. It makes it less funny, but makes more sense.
