Holy ****! The first one ever! And I bet he was the first person EVER to think of sticking a bass and a guitar together on the same instrument.

I'll say what I said in Dylan's thread on this, I don't see the point of having two different scales on a single neck. I would rather have something with uniform scale, like and ERB or a Stick.

i'm sure it was for familiarities' sake. sure, he could transpose it to an erb, but he already knows whats going on with those scales.

it's useless imo, you can't play both at once unless you're tapping, and that's what ERB's, Warr Guitars, and Chapman Sticks are for.

If the guitar fretboard was on the top, chords would be insanely difficult. I'm glad I thought of this important design feature.

What a ****.

great on him: made an instrument he wanted. i just don't get WHY he chose to put the pickups so close to the bridge - did he not want any bass from his bass?
14 frets on the bass side too... guess it would be hard to even fret those notes anyways.

I think its hilarious that he is sitting there showing it off like he designed and made it from scratch... He made a crappy sketch and brought it to a luthier who made a crappy instrument. I lol'd...

STILL: I agree with deemo, he got an instrument he wanted and it seems like he enjoys it. Good for him :)

I made a thread about this on a old account,I regret that, but half as much as he regrets saying he is "the first to think of it".

Treble Bass > That.
