Ok, the video thing didn't work out so well....
But here's a song:
Contrary Emotion...
http://www.myspace.com/subcontraharmony
Theory kids will understand the pun.
It's all on my Schecter Elite 4 by the way, such a nice bass.
My songs lack technicalness, I'm just very heavy on emotion and low on technique I guess.

That was the best pun ever....sike.
Just kidding man. The bass sounds really nice. Good finger tone, good harmonics. I wish I liked the look of Schecters. Ballin' slippers too.
sounds nice. it's a little bass heavy though, in terms of eq that is; and i think it would help if the different tracks were of more varying tones. regardless, i liked it.

wow man, i really liked that one. especially some of the fills 1:00 + sounded really good, very fitting for the mood of the song. the lack of technicality was like a breath of fresh air from what is usually recorded on these boards.
tone was way good but like naut said the eq was just a tad bass heavy but it sounded nice.
It sounds a ton like my tone, my custom 5 has EMG-HZ, does the elite have them too?

Thanks guys.
Yup it has HZ's, I don't care what anyone says I love them, and passiveness.

what kind of strings are you using?
BassVirtuoso

No idea, and the G string is a different kind of string than the rest.

That song was very groovy, great work on it!
I don't know what strings he sold you on there but you need to rip them off and put Elixirs back on it. That's not a schecter tone at all.
I was digging those Hz pups also, I don't know why anyone knocks them.

that didn't make any sense... if you were digging the Hz's then why would you want him to change the strings to get a different tone? the elixirs would give you an "elixer" tone not a schecter one.
puting elixirs back on that would be a horrible move. the tone you heard and liked would be gone and it would be replaced with a crappy brittle one that doesn't have the slightest bit of low end.

I owned one. I liked the Hzs on mine.

oh, i thought you were making that statement based on what you heard. nevermind then. you're entitled to your own opinion

yeah, re-reading my post I can see how it would be fairly nonsensical without that bit of information.
