Am from d&p(unfortunely) and I was just wondering what you guys think of
Justin Pearson of The Locust. Thank you that is all.

Well i know that the few times i've heard the Locust, i've had enough trouble catching what's going on enough to really focus on the bass playing.
But i can promise next time i listen (i plan to buy something of theirs, hear what they put out as a whole) i'll focus on the bass.
Besides the point, the locust recently beat Psyopus on my "craziest **** ever" list.

Upon second list, maybe they don't beat Psyopus.
They're touring with Daughters though... THAT would be a show to see. my lanterns.

Hahaha, The Locust is awesome. Great band. Pretty cool bassist.

I think he's pretty snazzy, uses some cool effects too.

Yeah, I think his effects make his tone/attack what it is.

Yeah, it really is.

A tonne of the weird sounds that you hear all the time are actually him, so it is funny when people think it is the synth. :p

I think he is actually a pretty talented bassist.

Speaking of Daughters, their bassist has some pretty scrumptious lines too.



Why can't both bands come to the UK together :(

The fact the Locust ignore time signatures is what gets me. They all have to be pretty talented to play out of time on purpose

I am lolling at the ridiculousness of this statement, right now.

I just thought it was funny because Justin Pearson said that they play in 4/4 all the time and whatnot. :p

i love the locust.. great musicians and wierd but nice people.. saw them support the yeah yeah yeahs a few years back.

justins other bands are quite cool as well..

daughters are on my to see list!

i was too distracted by the crazy costumes they all had on to focus fully on the music, let alone the bass...
