Go to the BLS site for accurate reports but as I recall average starting wage for EE is around 55 and similar for ChemE with BS. Masters bumps that up about 10 and PhD another 20.

They do make money...But you've got to be spot on with your calc's for what your designing/testing because all the **** will fall back onto you if your product ****s up.

But hey, Engineering is cool, I'm trying to be a Mechanical or Aeronautical engineer myself.
