ok guys, I had to re-setup my kit because i had to turn it 90 degrees, so i thought, why don't i try something different?
My a customs are coming in 2-3 weeks, and by that time I'll have my gibraltar V, so then I'll have a new thread up, till then it's my new setup. enjoy!
by the way, my 13" tom is on the ground, that one will go next to me on the left.. so the setup will be 2 up, 2 down, and a floor on each side, but it will remain on the ground till i get my rack. maybe i will eventually change back to a 3 up, 1 down setup, but we'll see..
taken from lying on the ground ;)

Pretty good. Not a bad set-up.
Personally I'd have those rack toms a little lower down. And the cymbals.
Something about the overhead shot that makes it look like your set-up is really cramped. Dunno why cos the other angles look fine...

cymbals are gonna be changed, and I was thinking of getting either emp over ambs, or G2 over G1..
and the roadpro is great.. seriously.. It's quite heavy and very sturdy :)

hey chev do you ever find that with this setup you dont use the floor tom as much? i have mine almost exactly set up like that and find myself doing fills between the snare and higher 2 toms.

no.. i reallt DO use it this way.. when i had 3 up, i didn't use it when i had three up, and always ended fills on the 3rd tom.. now, since my '3rd' tom is my floor, i do use it more.. :) I'll just have to wait and see what the tom on my left will bring more to my playing.. :)
