i actually had the ride closer in previous setups when i played 2 crashes. i did away with the crash near the floor tom, and moved the ride a bit so i could utilize it as a crash as well. that probably makes no sense at all.

regardless, its actually not that bad of a reach. one of the perks of being long i suppose.

for those of you who asked for specs on the kit:

dw collectors series in black cherry satin oil w/ black hardware

9x12 tom
13x16 floor tom
18x22 bass

snare, im not sure at the moment. i rotate btwn my dw, pearl and spaun. so, its one of those. i just cant remember. either 14x5, 14x6, or 14x7. i want to say im using the dw currently.
