Help identifying a Zildjian crash

Friend of mine has an 18 inch Zildjian crash. It is labeled Rock Crash, and has an Avedis logo on the top and underside. Is this a high quality line of Zildjian, or one of the low end? Thanks...

well, there are a few rock crashes.
A rock
Z custom rock
ZXT rock
ZBT rock

but seeing there is the avedis logo, i am pretty sure that is the A series rock crash. so this cymbal would be more twords the higher quality cymbals of zildjian.

if im not right, someone please correct me.

Do you mean printed or stamped Avedis logo?

Avedis is one of the professional lines (often called "A")

If you see lathing its probably a Avedis which is one of the best of the best.

you see circular hammering then its probably a cheap one

I havent actually seen the cymbal yet. Friend of mine, a non-drummer, got it from a friend and wants to know if its a good cymbal or not, for resale. All he told me was that it has "Avedis" printed on both sides, and is a Rock Crash, 18 inches. I am hoping to see it tonight.

They dont make an A Custom rock crash.

I doubt it. The Z's dont have Avedis written on them. Only (IIRC) the A series has Avedis written on it. Older model A's had a rock crash.
