Skitsystem's Stigmata was one of my favorite hardcore albums of 2006. I think I've heard a bit of Totalt Jävla Mörker but they weren't very good.
Sweden hardcore overall is very good though, today and of yesteryear. Totalitär kick ***, same with S.O.D., E.A.T.E.R. and many other less knowns.

Totalitar is essential. Sin Egen Modstandare is a br00tal as f'uck release. Also, Autoritar, Anti-Cimex(more popularly considered Swedish D-Beat), Mob 47(so brutal, tied with my Totalitar as my favorites), DS-13, Victims... the list goes on. If you really dig Swedish hardcore, I highly recommend some Finnish hardcore (Kohu-63, Terveet Kadet, Kaaos, Riistetyt -- all f'ucking tear so hard). Personally, I think the Scandinavian Hardcore scene is 10x better than the US Hardcore scene.

DS-13 is Demon System 13. And, as for the second part . Whoever told you that, lied to you so badly, hah! Charles Bronson were all from Chicago, Illinois area -- around the surrounding DeKalb, Illinois area. All members from DS-13 are from Sweden. But, the bassist did go on to play in the powerviolence band Bruce Banner. So, maybe you were a little bit on the ball there. :thumb: As for Mark McCoy, singer of Charles Bronson, I believe that was the first band he ever sand for, being he's credited as being 17 or 18 I believe on their S/T 7". He's only been in Charles Bronson, Social Coma, Das Oath, Virgin Mega Whore, and Holy Molar, to my knowledge. :thumb:

Speaking of DS-13, some of them went on to do ExTxA. After ExTxA broke up, 3 of those dudes went on to do Regulations, so people should listen to them by association. haha

Yuck, I hate that "computer-sound-stuff." Some drum-machine bands (Retch, Necrocannibal, CARNE, Cress) I can deal with, and actually dig, but, most drum-machine bands are horrendous. And I hope by "computersoundstuff" you don't mean like "cybergrind" where they use a synthesizer/keyboard to make trippy sound effects in grind. Cybergrind is the worst genre of music, in my opinion. If a band needs to include a laptop, and no short of 3 surge protectors in order to play their set, they definately suck. :thumb:

i posted anyway. its Nintendogrind...
the computerstuff in Soltär wasnt really like that at all, they used some really Low-fi bitcrushed samplings between songs and in the intros.
otherwise there is a really ennoying trend in swedish hardcore right now, and thats the Cult Of luna ripoffs. I mean, its great on record, but i find those slow psychedelich sludge passages kinnda boring live.

Ah, sometimes live samplings (if done correctly) serve well as a transition between songs, i.e. how Dystopia used it. But, I hear where you're coming from... if it's done too often, or if it's drawn out for too long, it can really kill the momentum of a live set. I further agree in that samplings tend to sound great on record, but (most of the time) boring live.
Side note: Do you really dig cybergrind? (yuck :))
I like Borg64, if thats cybergrind :P
Its not been done much in sweden i guess, that might be the reason :P

I can't take any cybergrind band too seriously... I've seen as far as bands using actual Gameboys to make sound effects. In my opinion, it's not very good.
