None of those are thrash. Shadows fall is like a crappy mallcore band, killswitch is metalcore (laughably so) and LoG is groove/metalcore. Neither is Trivium thrash. Fail.

Bullshit. I live in ****ing Tennessee and used to live in rural South Carolina where I learned about thrash metal mainly, and Dark Angel was one of the first bands I learned about that wasn't part of the Big Four, and it was all word of mouth no internetm, so definitely not obscure.

Unsuspecting victims no warnings, no signs.
Judgment day the second coming arrives.
Before you see the light you must die.
Forgotten children, conform a new faith,
Avidity and lust controlled by hate.

Souls of damnation in their own reality.
Chaos rampant,
An age of distrust.

Not bad, but fairly typical of heavy metal/thrash metal. Not to mention it says relatively little that you couldn't glean from reading any book or listening to any song. Like I said, their lyrics are nothing special.
