The no pickguard thing is one of the ugliest things you can do to a MM.

Bullpoop. I think that sheet metal is the worst thing you can do to a MM.

whilst were on the subject of MM i wonder if someone can help me....
been searching for a new bass, and iv not been able to find one around my area as all the shops are rrrrruuuuubish, so i decided just to bite the bullet and order a stingray online, one site i came across gave different options for the electrics, standard/HH/HS/Piezo, now im guessing HH and HS are combinations or 2 pickups (humbuckers and single coils) but what is the piezo? and also i thought that stingrays only came with the single 1 humbucker pickup, or is that just the "standard" setup.
i thought id post it in this thread to save starting a new one, as i thought it was wierd that only that one site gave me these options, thanks in advance
i used half of my college grant that i shouldave used to buy food by the way
Glad to see you'd rather go hungry...
Cuz I've been there before. :(
But totally worth it. :thumb:

Man, stuff costs a lot in Europe. $780 for an SUB with a big paint chip.
Otherwise it looks nice.

I remember I borrowed a SUB for a long time from an ex-friend of mine.
That bass was one of the nicest basses i've played, and it felt and sounded great doing just about anything!
Congrats on the purchase

piezo pickups are located in the bridge of the bass but as to why or what they sound like i have no idea
all i know is that on electric guitars piezo's allow you to get a very acoustic tone
