Did you take the Eastern electronics out of the thumb? Seems gay that you stuck all that extra crap in it and now you don't have it. Ahh well, I look forward to a nice Primus jam next week.

That is... way too good looking.
Got a link to the guy? I know the guy with the battletoads avatar has one, too, but until know, I was never interested :p.

Damn, that is sexy. I don't know about those EMG's, though. I would probably replace them with something else. Congratulations, though. That thing is a beauty.

I have every intention of replacing them with some Nordys at some point, but not for a couple of months at least
Thanks for the good feedback this has gotten :thumb:
and the guy is Jon Shuker at http://www.shukerguitars.co.uk/, and hes awesome!

Looks nice, i do not think the headstock fits the body (what can you say, im old fashioned..) also it got one major flaw... 5 strings!
I keep wondering why so many "custom" bass people use EMG? EMG will maby sound nice, but i would never pay that much for, for instance a Fodera when its "EMG pickups" (would never buy a fodera anyway)

Thats pretty hot, though it should have a more Fenderish headstock IMO.
My new toy was more stripy :thumb:
Beautiful bass, congrats

Oh, that is a definitely good upgrade. :p
I have seen Jon's work before, and he does some absolutely quality basses!
Awesome, congratulations. I am close to finally making my custom order with Jon. We've been discussing all my options - and I think I'm finally decided. Flamed blue jazz bass with maple neck and matching headstock, LEDs, Nordstrand dual coils...should be fun.
Enjoy your bass!
