Haha yea, i saw this ages ago, he puts forward some pretty good arguments. He wasn't as liberal as i thought he would be though (or perhaps he was just trying to level with the conservative guy)

I get the impression that he was a libertarian.

I like how he turned the younger dude's comment about the founding fathers against him. What a terrible point to make.

I was expecting Zappa to be really liberal.

He's not the drugged out hippy with ridiculous ideas that everyone makes him out to be. He's a real person.

 Did you just imply that drugged out hippies aren't real people?

Who called him a drugged out hippie?

I think what made me sick in the video was everyone save Zappa.

Yeah. Jesus ****ing Christ, you invite someone on your show, is the whole point to ensure that he can't get a word in and engage in a debate about something while being called an idiot, get the product he produces "garbage," until it becomes a chorus of three balding old white men whining out their beer guts and tweed suits about the American family?

I don't know, I thought Zappa was weak but had his moments.

Zappa had chances to make better points but he chose to be an ambiguous, pretentious asshole (he probably couldn't do much else). C'mon just because you guys can relate to Zappa as a musically inclined person doesn't mean you should shove off "balding old white men."

I think Zappa provide little sound argument to support his stance.

But anyways, upon viewing the aftermath, the Parental sticker that was the outcome of this fiasco (to my knowledge) actually helps business more than anything. It surely brought gangsta rap to the forefront by giving it a mysterious aura to kids.

I totally agree. I thought he was going to pwn them, but I was disappointed.
