i never understood "winning" something from ebay. You buy something from ebay but you can never win. What are you winning? The ability to pay someone for something you want. Great prize.

what you are "winning" is the ability to buy the product. just because you see something on eBay doesn't mean you just pay a set price and it's yours. of course, there are plenty of items like that, but for the most it's about auctions.
