I've got a new toy and i just felt like i had to show it around. It's an Alembic 25th Anniversary, in perfect condition, except for a tiny ding on the headstock stock and the need for a little cleaning. Got it of Ebay for €2300.

Here's some pics:

Congrats on the Alembic... those basses really don't do anything for me but hey, its your money to spend.

Argh, you have a bass collection that would suit me very good..

Give that alembic a spyder shape, the rick midnight blue and the ibanez fretless, and i would be amazingly satisfied..

Nice bass, congrats my good man.

You have quite a bit of money if you can afford all those. How old are you?

Congrats on the bass !

You're still studying I suppose? How do you get the money then?

And I see you have a fetish for natural basses :p

Pretty cool, but I think Alembics are too expensive for what they are.

Eh, I am not too keen on Alembics, but congratulations!

It is always nice to find one.

The butt end of that reminds me of some kind of horrible spider. An ugly and retarded looking spider, but a spider nonetheless.

Still, if you enjoy it, congrats.

I actually find this attractive and I don't know why, since:

A) It contains quilted maple
B) It's a weird Alembic shape

But yet, it's attractive...

I think I'm sick.

Yes, i'm still studying, but I also work part-time and since i'm savingful and have little expenses, i'm able to splurge once in a while.

Sometimes name overshadows price, which is understandable.

I dont see myself needing anything more than a Cirrus. In my genre of music, golden basses dont really impress anyone.

I've never liked that body shape, but to own an Alembic, that's just great. I'm quite envious.

I don't dig the shape, but if you like it, more power to you.

Congrats.
