I dont know if this is aloud, but if it isnt then close the thread.
I remember seeing this thread or post on a Word Document a User made that had all the world scales on it and its different keys. Does anyone know were they can find, because I cannot find it for the life of me.
Also,
I remember seeing this Berklee Bass book that came in a Acrobat Reader file that was scanned and upload, from someone who went to summer basslines.
help?

Well, if this is considered a tab request, no, it isn't allowed. Try looking in the resource section maybe.

All Scales
The collection that follows is every scale I have encountered in my life.
All scales are written in the key of C; the tone/semiton relationship can
be figured out from there. We are assuming these strings to be tuned into
fifths (EADG.) This document may be used as long as its state is not
altered in any way, shape, or form; and so long as it is free. The author
of this document is Andrew B. I may be contacted at:
sevas_x-3749263742369-yahoo.com (remove -3749263742369- and replace with
the at symbol "@.") Please tell me what you think and inform me of any
incorrect or missing scales. Thank you.
(Note: modes of scales that do not have names are not included.)

I believe I posted that in the theory thread, though Josh said a lot of it was wrong or just made up.
What I dont get:
How can a guy possibly know that many scales and not know that bass is tuned in fourths?

i think most of these are made up, or under the category of "no one has ever used this before"

Get a teacher for upright, srsly. I don't how many kids Ive seen that have this terrible technique and their intonation is terrible and they have to unlearn all the bad habits and start over, it would suck. Bottom line get a teacher until you feel you can work on your own. Its not like electric bass, where everything is laid out for you and you can just learn it by yourself.

If your going through scales on upright by yourself, use a piano (unless you have perfect pitch.) Trust me, thats were bad intonation starts.

Better yet, an electric or recently tuned acoustic piano.

123.
I know my acoustic piano isn't a good tool for practicing intonation - the thing can barely hold it's intonation.
