Promoting on the Radio

Hey guys, my band and I are planning to send 2 of our demo songs to a radio station, and I was wondering what materials other than the CD should I include? A biography of some sort? Help me out, thanx.

I'm very new to all of this myself, but from what I gather you need to develop a press kit. Again, I don't know much about it but it should at least have your music (duh), a band bio, some band pics and/or logos, maybe individual band member bios, shows you have preformed, ect. Basically its a bands resume. Almost anytime you send out your music, you should send a full press kit.
