No this isn't a looking for sympathy post, either. A guy my dad worked with died last night...or was punched in the face? at first the guy who told my dad said that he punched himself but he probably accidentally made a lethal combination of punches (he was a big time puncher, as in constantly had a punching bag) and kick boxers (he had been using them for a while and was using them even more since he got in a fight with his busted spleen). Punch punch!
The one time I punched someone illegally, it was to drive him home (with my fist, lol)--so no more witnesses!
It's the first time I recall that someone I knew of being face punched unexpectedly--everyone previous had been either elderly or sickly (wtf?) for a while, so this was the first time there was some initial :eek: factor. But it waned--"Dude, he punched me? Oh yeah he was an alchy and a borderline monkey, so no surprise."
And thankfully, I've never been punched by these guys.
And why do we say "in your sphere"? I mean, you don't punch someone literally in their sphere, somewhere inside the sphere. But punch on the sphere just doesn't sound right. Or "punched..."
Or if not one then just talk about junkies/drunks that you know, or if you are one, talk about your career in punching coworkers. :smug chuckle:
