Try playing lead guitar over the Rhythm part. If you can come up with a cool part, use that as your vocal melody. Sometimes this can make things a lot easier, unless you can't come up with a lead part either. Just try different stuff and see how it sounds.

Hmm...if I have lyrics that are set to a particular chord progression/riff/whatever, they usually write themselves.

Bringing in some more talent can't help!
Some people it kind of comes natural and they are very creative. Its not really something you can teach, you just gotta do it you know? Just keep playin around with it you'll find something, or just find a singer.

Give it a shot. If you can find some transcriptions of vocal melodies of your favorite singers, that might be a good way of getting ideas. I've seen quite a few guitar pro tabs with the vocal melodies included.

try start of low and aiming high, and vice versa... try rasp... maybe scream or growl... dont be afraid to experiment ya know.. different dynamics can sound amazing on some tracks, and some not...
