Hey guys and gals-

I'm just starting a website called Communal Music Project (CMP), where people can download tracks that other people recorded, add on to them, and then re-upload them, so someone else can do the same. This way, the same beginning track can turn into many different songs, and contain many different ability levels.

As of now, there are only 7 individual tracks, so I'm looking for more content to be put up in any form. Some drum tracks would be awesome, but anything would be great.

I hope that sounds interesting to all of you, and I hope to hear from you soon! Tell your friends!

Neat, so would final products be completely free of liscensing issues?

Yea, they'd be completely free, so people could come take what they want and use it for whatever they'd want, so it'd be best if you were down with that, as what gets uploaded is for the good of the community- not personal gain.

That aside- your contribution was awesome, although it would be best if they could be added one track at a time. Do you have that available? If not, no worries.

ohh!!!

well, I first posted a basic mixed down blues guitar/bass/drum track I assumed would be good for a guitarist to solo over or something
but if you want all of the tracks, I could do it at school.

I suppose I could at home... but on a 56k connection it'll probably take an hour max for each like, 40 meg raw wave file.

...anyways from now on I'll post on the cmp forum.
