Jesse or Howard?

Who do you think is/was better for Killswitch Engage, Howard Jones or Jesse?

For Howard: Strong Deep voice that helped the signing parts and sorta helped the screaming

For Jesse: Great screaming and had some classic songs but the singing was that strong

Final Judgement for me: Howard by a slight margin

Oh yeah great conclusion there.

Jesse was a far superior vocalist, the raw intensity, and his brilliant way with clean passages, note: Self Revolution + Vida Infra
However it's better to have him do a couple of amazing CD's and leave then stay and milk it

Howard gave the band new life, literally
He's ok and has fantastic vocal talent but seems a bit forced and predictable....
Adam D should do more clean stuff, and spend more time writing albums than producing them :)

I loved the band when they had Jesse, they've really gone downhill since imo, I don't really like any of the stuff with Howard.

All I know is I saw Seemless open for Trivium and the vocals were amazing. Better than what I heard from the new Killswitch Engage.

I never heard Jesse yet. I started listen to KSE like 4 days ago but Howard's voice definitely great. Ill listen some tracks of Jesse see whos better.

Jesse was, in my book, probably the greatest recorded voice of all time. Classic vocals such as those on Numbered Days and To the Sons of Man are incomparable metal growling that I have yet to see anyone, much less Howard, match.

When it comes to live vocals, however, Jesse had a plethora of problems. Smoking, straining his vocals chords, they resulted in not such a good live performance. Howard is a much better live performer but just couldn't belt out the right sound when it mattered the most: on the record.
