so when are they going to come out with grand theft auto for online play. i think it would be pretty sweet if it was to be set up the same way. it would be the most chaotic game out.

Yeah and guess what? That's where the fun ends. What the hell else would there be to do? Just run around in a melee brawl with other online players? Just turn on the riot cheat in the game if you want that.

im not a big fan of gta, it's just really boring
the only good feature it has is the easy cheat entry and the chat radio stations

Halo is MEH. GTA is flegah! (or whatever the positive version of meh is)

And onlines great fun. MTA for san andreas absolutely sucks a ss hardcore from what i've heard. I've just been playing sa-mp with my brother. Its pretty awesome we both get the bullet (the one the looks like the GT) and start from say.. CJ's house. We then make it our mission to see who arrives at the top of the pyramid in Las Venturas, or the secret army base in the desert FIRST. Its awesome because depending on how you played the offline version you have a very different way of getting from point a to b.

SA-MP also allows for different mods to be implemented.. For instance in one called "Cops and Robbers" you can pick different classes before entering the game. I picked the drug dealer classification and drove around the city selling drugs to people for 200 bucks a gram making quite a bit of coin. Sometimes the cops would see you and then you would appear as redish orange (instead of grey) to ONLY the cops. This meant that you had cops chasing you. This is different then the offline mode because these dudes can drive! your high tailing it out as fast as possible and its just farking great. I totally recommend it.

Only negatives are the frequent cheaters and the laggyness of it all. But that can be fixed by making your own server and only inviting people you know to play :thumb:

Alright, I think a MMO version of GTA could be cool if done properly. Like if you had a system where you worked your way up through the gangs by doing missions, and competing with other players. Make it like a real-mafia game, just in the GTA world and setting. It'd be cool. If they just took GTA and made it online however it would lick balls. GTA gets boring quickly, unless your taking turns with your cousin to see how long of a rampage you can pull off. Otherwise, meh.
