No love for the AtR? No respect? This band is insane! I have their three albums, This Darkened Heart, Behind Silence and Solitude, and The Fall of Ideals. I personally met Phil and Oli. And I can't say exactly what we did, but me and Phil broke the law together!!! I love this band.

This band is genius. I saw them on tour with Light This City. Ooh and a vibrant young lady for a singer they do have! Yes! What is she, 17 or so! Ouch, momma.

They're an alright band. I hated their new album at first, but now that I've listened to it it grew on me. Decent band, good for mainstream-esh metalcore.

I saw them with HORSE the band and Dragonforce back in Spetember. Before that, I was never crazy about them, but they put on a really good and energetic show and for that, they have my respect. I have been meaning to pick up the new album and I think I will soon.

ATR is just probably post-thrash...the hardcore influence in them is so little i doubt its even there.

Post thrash? never seen that term before... if anything, that'd work for KSE or Shadows Fall and such, but not ATR... ATR's more of just a strange metal band that mixes a ton of styles.

I love this band. Saw em live with DragonForce last month, and they could've been better to be honest, but I spose it wasnt really their fault: Their bassist was having great technical difficulties and the guitarist also on the same side of the stage as her was kinda a bit put off by it, helping her get it sorted. It eventually led ot their set being cut a bit short. The rest of the band were tight and definately gonna be checking em out the next time they come over here as headliners.

I recommend: This Darkened Heart, This Calling, The Weak Willed, It Dwells In Me, Passion

i love all that remains. I think It Dwells in Me, and Weak Willed are my favorite off the newest, but im still not sure if its better than This Darkened Heart though.
sucks to hear some of you had a bad show when they were with dragonforce. I thought they were great and actually met phil and the bassist chick later on, hes shorter than i thought too

ATR has grown on me lately...i will say yes it is mainstream metalcore, but despite the catchiness of it all, they are pretty talented. but after my trivium phase i went to these guys and i gotta say they're very different, but the stylings and voicings of the guitars are somewhat similar. sounds like they were mixed by the same person...hmmmmmmmmmm
